Eating Healthy

If you are like most Americans today you either are very health concious or do not give a damn about it,there is a 50 50 split on that in this country though with the many articles in foreign publications about "Fat Ameicans" the number of those who dont give a damn is decreasing.To maintain good Healthy Living and Physical and Mental Wellness you must Exercise and you must Eat Well Balenced Healthy Meals,the food groups should be represented in each meal.If you must havea snack between meals have an apple or an orange or a banana,any kind of fruit will do or snack crackers like triscuits or even saltines.Whatever you do get away from the habit of reaching for those twinkies or ho ho's or suzy q's,yes I know they are good at least tasting but are they good for you?I dont think so try reading the package and see what all they have in them and to what percentages for minimum daily requirements.Good healthy eating and exercise is the ticket along with quitting certain bad habits that not everybody has,like smoking for one I quit it was'nt easy but I knew that I could do it as I already had twice both times while Pregnant,yes I actually listened to my Doctor.Unfortuneately so did my Husband and stopped buying me Mt Dew somewould say that you should stop drinking soda as well,I wont as I still have my Mt Dew and my Husband Still drinks his Coca Cola,though we did compromise and decide that our kids are stuck with seven up or sierra mist as both are caffine free.So though I would say that you do not have to quit drinking soda it would not hurt you to cut back on your daily intake,after all you must retain some vice in your life or you would'nt be human

Todays Wellness Tip.

EXERCISE:
Yes I am sure that you have heard this a thousand times however I am saying it again,exercise is a key factor in your personal health it does'nt have to be strenuous or anything like that.Exercise can be fun and beneficial at the same time if you make it that way,I have a pair of Roller Blades I got at Wal-Mart they are not overly expensive and they are functional.
I go Roller Blading every evening and my kids go with me on their bikes,not only do we get our daily Exercise for the day but we have fun and spend some quality time together.If you do not trust your balance enough for Roller Blades than try riding a bike or walking,either one is good for you and good for your body as well(no jogging it's terrible on your knees.). Being the time of year it is Swimming is also an option and an excellent workout as well,if you dont beleive me ask Evander Holyfeild he swam his way to the Heavyweight Championship.You can take all the diet pills in the world and it will avail you not if you do not Excercise to in conjunction with them, so put on your comfortable shoes after dinner and take a walk around the block and help yourself to a healthier tomorrow.

Wellness does matter.

Living in todays world where disease and famine run rampant not only in the "third world countries" but here at home as well,more and more americans are becoming very Health and Wellness concious as a result. I started looking into various products that we used on a daily basis out of sheer curiosity and was shocked by what I learned, a good many products on the market contain "formaldahyde" as an ingredient and some contain "animal byproducts" a good percentage contain both. Not being one to wish what I consider to be unhealthy contents on my family I started searching for alternitives,eventually I came across a line of products that are 100% natural ingredients no "animal byproducts" or "formaldahyde". I switched to this line immediately and have not regretted the decision since, this company has a large line of products from personal hygeine and cosmettics through household cleaning products all are 100% natural.
