Strange title for the blog so be it that has ceased to bother me long ago I have always been unconventional, I am up early everyday by habbit getting kids off to school for years will do that to you. One thing that this does is allow me to see the parade of infomecials on television every morning, one of these is promoting a book on how to beat addiction for basically 25 dollars. Now I am not some doctor and I do not have a PHD or masters degree or any of that crap, what I am is someone that used to drink 3 18 packs of beer everyday with whiskey chasers added to the mix.
I tried AA and other rehab type deals over time and not so amazingly none of that worked for me, the truth is you do not need any of that to stop all you need is will power and the desire to stop plain and simple truth. I promised my kids on Pearl Harbor day 2004 that I would not drink again, I have not since that day will power and desire as I said if you can not motivate yourself to save your own life for the sake of your family than I do not know what to tell you. I did it and cold turkey at that since than i worked as a bartender for several years and it never tempted me in the least, so save your money and your life decide to stop and do it it isnt hard when you really want to do it.
